Renee Rolleri (Board Chair; Co-Founder) received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Parsons School of Design in 1992, a master's in Art Therapy from Pratt University in 2001, and is currently enrolled at New York University in the Doctor of Philosophy in Visual Culture and Education Program with a special focus on child development and art therapy. Since completing her graduate degree in art therapy, Renee has worked with the Joan Fenichel Therapeutic Nursery School, the NYU Child Study Center, the Jewish Board for Family Services and the Partnership for After School Education both as a clinician and as an art therapist. Inspired by the joy of working with children and families and becoming a parent herself, Renee co-founded the Blue Man Creativity Center with her husband Matt Goldman and partners Jen and Chris Wink in an effort to bring the unique qualities that Blue Man Group has to offer children and families into an educational environment.

Matt Goldman (Board Vice-Chair; Co-Founder) Matt attended Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics followed by a Masters Degree in Business Administration/Marketing. He was also involved in Clark athletics, playing varsity soccer and coaching a woman's Club team. Upon graduation from Clark, Matt was invited to join Omni Resources, a start-up software services company. He remained there seven years, producing educational and business software packages for clients that included CBS, Simon & Schuster, Grolier, Holt, Rinehart and Winston, Bantam Books and Prodigy. While at Omni, Matt formed a partnership with longtime friends Chris Wink and Phil Stanton. The three created Blue Man Group, which opened Off-Broadway at the Astor Place Theatre in 1991 and continues to play there today. Throughout their long association, Matt, Chris and Phil have been fascinated by the interconnections between learning, creativity and community and how, combined with new teaching techniques, the educational experience can be enhanced. It is this interest that led them to start the Blue Man Creativity Center.

Jennifer Lamberts Stanton (Board Member; Co-founder) believes that a more innovative approach to education is needed for a child’s development, and Blue School fills that need. As Blue School has evolved into a chartered academic institution, Jennifer joins her colleagues with the wildly popular Blue Man Group to create this New York-based, exciting educational environment.   With a deep concern for educational models to evolve in the 21st Century, Jennifer and the other co-founders were inspired by what they had learned through their experience with Blue Man Group – innovation, invention, and emotional intelligence. From this entertainment phenomenon, the co-founders of Blue School used the signature trademarks of exploration and discovery, multimedia theatrics and music in this new approach to educating young children.

Inez Van Lamsveerde (Board Member) is a world-renown fashion photographer and has
contributed deeply to Blue School’s success.  Working with her partner Vinoodh Matadin, they were among the first practitioners to show the possibilities of digital-imaging technology as a creative and meaningful medium. Since the early 1990s, they have created groundbreaking editorials for such publications as American, French, and Italian Vogue, V Magazine, Visionaire, The New York Times Magazine, and W Magazine.  Their work is also represented in galleries and museums internationally including: the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam; the Hayward Gallery, London; and the Whitney Museum of Contemporary Art, New York.

Inez has been instrumental in many key initiatives at the School, including initiating the Tuition Assistance Fund.  She has also welcomed Blue School students into her and Vinoodh's studio for fashion shoots as well as championing opportunities to spark the next generation of creative thinkers within our community.

Jen Graffam Wink (Board Member; Co-Founder) is an artist and graphic designer.  Originally from coastal Maine, Jen moved to New York City to attend Barnard College where she majored in Modern Art History with a concentration in Visual Arts. In subsequent years, she received an Ace Award, an SPD editorial design award and has had her work published in numerous design anthologies and periodicals. After scaling back professionally to become a mother, it was her search for a worthy, resonant educational path for her children that brought her lifelong pursuit of creative expression and collaboration back to the fore: in 2006, Jen co-founded the Blue Man Creativity Center (Blue School) with dear friends and partners Renee, Matt, Jennifer, Phil and husband Chris.
